Grant Harvey
Grant Harvey's one of the most promising young actors to emerge out of Los Angeles in the recent days. In addition to Jordan Ross and Cary Joji Fukunaga's Thumper (2017), which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, Harvey co-starred in the Will Smith film, Emancipation (2022), directed by Antoine Fuqua, due out next year. He'll also be seen in Ryan Murphy's Netflix limited series, Monsters (2022), in the coming year.
Harvey also recently starred in TNT's Animal Kingdom (2016) as a regular within the show's new 1970's story line, playing Colin, a damaged Vietnam veteran.
Born in Hawthorne, NV, Harvey grew up running his family's pizza parlor alongside his parents and brother Brian. He moved to Los Angeles after studying journalism for a few years at the University of Nevada, slept on couches and took several part-time jobs before landing his first acting gig on the ABC Family series, The Secret Life of the American Teenager (2008), starring Shailene Woodley. Fittingly, he portrayed Grant Volberg, a pizza delivery boy.
Harvey's television credits also include The Neighbors (2014), ABC's sci-fi drama, The Crossing (2018) as well as guest starring roles on Masters of Sex (2013), Supernatural (2005), Luther (2010), Bones (2005), and Criminal Minds (2005), among others. On film, he's appeared in Save the Date (2012), and will soon be seen in Lost Transmissions (2019).
