Per-Olav Sørensen
Sørensen is a highly acclaimed director/writer known for several award winning drama series hits like "The Playlist", "Quicksand", "Nobel", "Home for Christmas", "The Heavy Water War" / "The Saboteurs", "The Half Brother" and "A Storm for Christmas", to mention a few. Nearly all of the shows above can be seen on Netflix, since Sørensen has been collaborating with the worldwide streaming service since 2018. He is also known for movies like the Netflix hit "Royalteen", and he is a multi award winning theatre director as well. His last theatre production "Peer Gynt" (Ibsen) at Gålå in Norway (2022), became a mega success. Sorensen's TV drama productions have received several awards including Prix Europa, Rose d 'Or, Prix Italia, FIPA Awards, Seoul International TV Award, Kristallen (Sweden), and several Gullruten awards to mention some. He is also the founder of Global Ensemble Drama, which also contains the TV and film production company The Global Ensemble Drama.
