A Japanese actor, Sho Ikushima, was born in July 28th 1985 in Tokyo. Sho has worked in the U.S., Europe, and Japan as an actor and a dancer. Sho was born into an entertainment industry family. His father is a famous Japanese broadcaster, Hiroshi Ikushima, and his brother, Yûki Ikushima, is also an actor in Japan. He started out his career as a dancer. At the age of 15, he moved to California to attend Idyllwild Arts Academy where he started dancing and learnt English. As an actor, he has worked a number of times with Yukihiko Tsutsumi, one of the most well-known Japanese film director, and Kesennuma Voices (2012), their documentary series about the Great East Japan Earthquake, has won the first Satellite TV Original Drama Award in 2012. Sho has been involved with social activities by producing dance projects in Tohoku Region of Japan, the disaster stricken area since 2011 along with the documentary series. In Darc (2018), directed by Nick Powell, Ikushima appeared in the American film for the first time, and is starring with Tony Schiena and Emmy Award winner,Armand Assante.
