Tanya Kostadinova

Tanya Kostadinova is a Bulgarian actress , known for her supporting role as Eunike in the German Warner Bros Feature Film Production " Die Geschichte der Menschheit gekürt " . Where she is playing alongside the German Stars Matthias Matschke and Max Giermann . Tanya made her on screen, British film debut playing the role of Sharon in " The Resignation day " directed by Adam Brashwal . Playing alongside the famous British actor and stunt performer Adam Basil who is also director and producer of the film . She also landed numerous roles in TV Series in her home country Bulgaria . The actress builds psychologically difficult characters such as her role as The Psychiatrist in the short film " Coercion" which was selected in numerous film festivals such as The Short Film selection at BFI and Cannes Film Festival . Her role as Betty in " Better Nature " directed by acclaimed Bulgarian female director Ralitza Petrova was Tanya's first Bulgarian film. By an early age Tanya started to perform on stage with ballet and contemporary dance and continued developing her skills at the local theater for young talents in her home city Burgas . She graduated from English Language high school where she gained fluency in English language . Kostadinova has a Bachelor Degree in Acting for Theatre at New Bulgarian University . While she was still a student ,Tanya performed at The National Theatre in Sofia Bulgaria . The actress always desired to make the transition into film , so she applied and got accepted at Met Film School Ealing Studios West London where she trained in Acting for Film and TV Tanya explores different acting techniques . She went through plenty of workshops which helped her create her own style of work . She worked with Ivana Chubbuck's Technique which she started studying in London with Patrick Regis ,she attended the Master class with Ivana herself and now she is still exploring the technique itself with Adam Davenport at The International Acting Studios. From childhood Tanya trained ballet , contemporary dance and swimming which formed her athletic work ethic and devotion into her craft .Her sports skills also include horseback riding , tennis , yoga and pilates . Tanya has a diploma in Martial Arts ( Basic level) by the famous stunt coordinator Adam Horton . Tanya's biggest personal passion is music which turned into a hobby by collecting vinyls . From instrumental jazz to her favourite band Pink Floyd , to Thom York and Eric Clapton . Music will be an important part in her debut as a director for the documentary " The Infidel ". Tanya is working now with the composer Viktor Ilieff who will create the musical part of the film . She also has another short film under her belt as a co writer and First Assistant Director " It might be nothing in common " which was part of The Sofia Film Festival this year. The actress's love and dedication in her craft , helped her make the decision to be more involved in the process of filmmaking , by creating her own film projects . That's why she is currently graduating with her Master Degree in Filming Making . For Tanya it is important to be able to gain the power to give opportunities for work which can be a great start for aspiring young actors and creating a community of filmmakers from the Balkan Region .
